You know the saying: calm before the storm? Well that what it felt like to Ethan after everything that had happened with the dark Druid, the Alpha pack that had fallen apart all thanks to McCall, not that he was actually upset about the last part as he had never been happy there, no matter how much he wanted to be.

Now it just seemed like he was running on autopilot, going through the motions of; heading to school, taking Aiden's English while his brother took his Math, trying not to fall even further in love with Danny than he already dangerously was. He needed something to change, something to happen even if it was something as simple as finally being allowed into Scott McCall's pack but it seemed that the strangeness of Beacon Hills was going to answer his boredom instead.

Ethan was out running in the forest around Beacon Hills one night after school, it seemed that even lacrosse practice couldn't burn off his extra energy, coming maybe a little too close to the Nemeton for his werewolf's liking before he stopped, thinking he saw something by the large stump that was that was left of the giant tree.

Ethan had gotten into it with Aiden again. Hell, he's pretty sure that they'd been fighting a lot more than usual lately. So when he heads out for a run and stumbles, he growls. Clearly agitated at being thrown off balance. Right on his ass and then he feels eyes on him.

Groaning he moves to sit up, to pay attention to the other person. However, his eyes go straight to the giant stump. Why was that thing still here...?

Curious as to what someone else was doing out by the large tree stump dose he move closer, getting a better look at... himself?

No it couldn't be so then it had to be... "Aiden?"

He turns his head slightly and raises a brow at the other calling his brother's name. This was not a trick he was very fond of. Nor was it funny.

"You know good and well that I'm not you."

"I'm not really in the mood for this Aid." Ethan groans out with an annoyed huff as he slowly moves closer, a hand running through his short and slightly damp hair. "Did you follow me out here or something?"

[try_something_nice]

"And I'm not in the mood for whatever game this is." Ethan states with a scowl. "I didn't follow anyone out here. We got into it and I decided to come out. Ended up here. So why don't you tell me what the hell you want."

"I'm not in the mood either," Growling back with eyes flashing blue even though he knew he'd never be able to defeat Aiden in a fight, if it came to that.

"I want you to leave me alone, Aiden."

His own eyes flash blue and he narrows them as he gets up, moving closer to his mirror self. "And I already flat out told you that I'm not Aiden. You are. I'm not. I think I'd know who the hell I am. So why don't you stop this sick little game of yours."

"I'm not Aiden, so stop your little game. It ain't funny anymore." It was becoming really hard to hold back his annoyance and punch the person in front of him, his usually long fuse was burning down rather quickly.

"And I am NOT my brother," Ethan growls out, eyes narrowing a bit more on his other self. He flexes his hands and gives a low, dangerous growl. "I'm not sure whose idea this was or what game this is, but I don't like it."

"Wait, if you're not Aiden then you're..." No, it couldn't be possible, he couldn't have met another him. "But how could that be, how are there two Ethans?"

That gets a deep frown out of Ethan, "Are you trying to say that you're me?"

"As strange as it sounds, yeah." And his words really did sound strange even to him but it was the only logical explination as to what was going on.

He shakes his head and that frown deepens more, "How is that even possible and where the hell is Aiden?" His or his mirror self's brother.

"Dunno," he's not entirely sure anyone really knows how anything happens in the town. "As for Aid, he's probably plotting Danny's demise."

He shakes his head and gives off a deep growl, "He doesn't know how in the hell to leave him alone." Then again they didn't exactly stop Aiden either.

"But it's not like he can be stopped either." He sighed out, running a hand through his short hair, grateful that he actually had someone to talk to about this, that understood what he was going through because of his twin's possessiveness.

[try_something_nice]

"And it's not like we can just up and leave," Ethan states watching his other self. "Aiden would just come after us and drag us right back to him." There's a bit of a frown there, "Where did we go wrong with him?"

"Drag us back and kill Danny," He points out sadly. "I don't know. Honestly, I now can't remember a time when he wasn't like this."

[try_something_nice]

"I won't let him kill Danny. I'll do whatever I can to keep that from happening." Though he shakes his head and sits down right where he's at. "Maybe if we'd of put up more of a fight in our old packs. Maybe then he wouldn't be like this. I'd say talk sense into him, but that wouldn't work."

"Neither will I, Danny's too special not to fight for." Ethan slumps down against the tree behind him, mirroring the other's position exactly. "I guess we should have but would it have really made a difference, especially during our time in the Alpha pack? You know as well as I do, there's no talking sense to him. It's pointless."

"Of course he's too special not to fight for." Which will get them killed one of these days. "Yeah, but this started before the Alpha pack. So it had to of been before then that we went wrong with him. Something snapped in our brother and we didn't even notice. Now he's... all growly, fangs and claws possessive. And threatens anyone that comes close to us." Something he really didn't like. "We could find Danny and run." Not that he thought it would work.
